The Sports Edition of the Ford Endeavour carries an impressive black look that is bound to get heads to turn. The all-new ebony black front grille has a dominating presence, the front fender and the rear bumper skid plates have also been given the ebony black treatment and to further accentuate its imposing stance, Ford has finished the headlights in a special smoked look. The black theme carries over to the side and rear as well including ebony black ORVMs and alloys which complete the package.
The Ford Endeavour has always been a great SUV to drive and the Sport Edition continues in that legacy. After all, it too is powered by the tried and tested 2.0 litre EcoBlue engine that delivers 170 PS of power and a solid 420 Nm of torque. Coupled with the world’s first 10-speed automatic transmission, the Endeavour offers a potent mix of performance, off-roading capabilities and the all-important element of mileage. Keeping with its pedigree of being a true-blue SUV, the Ford Endeavour Sport Edition comes with a first-in-segment terrain management system with four preset modes, namely Normal, Snow /Mud/ Grass, Sand & Rock. Each setting alters the vehicle’s throttle response, transmission, 4-wheel drive system and traction control in order to allow the driver to tackle the toughest of terrain. Add to that you get a water wading capacity of 800mm which means you can literally drive through a small stream or water-logged roads without a problem. The new Endeavour Sport Edition comes with Ford’s voice-enabled SYNC3 in-car connectivity technology. This also includes an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Google Auto compatibility. The Endeavour also features active noise cancellation to reduce low frequency engine sounds in the cabin. For your comfort, you get plush seats, a massive panoramic sunroof, semi-auto parallel park assist, push button start, parking sensors, a rear parking camera, automatic wipers and automatic climate control.
The Endeavour Sport will also the FordPassTM connectivity solution at no extra cost. Via the FordPassTM app, customers will be able to operation numerous functions including starting, stopping or unlocking the vehicle. The app also gives the owner a plethora of data that includes fuel levels, vehicle locator and distance to empty readings.
