Jharkhand Minorities Welfare Minister Haji Hussain Ansari passes away, CM expresses grief

Ranchi, Oct 3 (UNI) Jharkhand's Minorities Welfare Minister Haji Hussain Ansari passed away on Saturday afternoon at Medanta Hospital.

He was 73.

He was an MLA from Madhupur seat of State Assembly on a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha ticket.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed grief over the passing away of the minister.

He said the Haji Hussain Ansari Saheb Ji's death has deeply pained him.

The CM said the deceased leader had played an important role in the movement for separate Jharkhand and was a very simple man.

The Chief Minister prayed to the almighty for his peace and give strength to the family to overcome the burden of loss.
