Assam COVID count at over 1.82 lakh

Guwahati, Oct 2 (UNI) The COVID 19 positivity rate in Assam remained below 3% for four successive days even as the overall tally crossed 1.82 lakh in the state.
The total COVID 19 cases in the state has reached 1,82,396 with detection of 1,585 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate was 3.98% yesterday with the rate remaining low for the fourth successive day.
The death toll has touched 711 as 14 casualties were reported in the last 24 hours.
The number of recovered COVID 19 patients in the state has increased to 1,47,519, while the active caseload is over 34,000.
