Amitabh Bachchan has dedicated his latest 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 12' episode to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti today. The megastar gave his introduction on the show with a poem dedicated to the father of the nation.

'Bharat Ki Pehchaan, Bharat Ka Sammaan,' is how he started describing Mahatma Gandhi. Amitabh Bachchan also reminded people that Bapu is still alive in people today, and those who have not felt him, just need to understand his values and principles still exist among us.

Citing examples, Big B said that people would not have raised their voice in violence against women if Bapu was not alive. He spoke about other humanitarian works like helping out orphans, needy, and protesting for those who are unable to raise their voices.

While talking about Mahatma Gandhi on 151st birth anniversary of Bapu, Amitabh Bachchan also remembered ex-PM Lal Bahadur Shastri, as the day also marks his birth anniversary. He is the latest to pay tribute to them. Various film celebrities and politicians have already paid their tribute to the leaders.

Amitabh Bachchan has also brought in two gentlemen from Aajeevika, which is an organization working for migrant workers. They spoke about how COVID-19 affected the workers, and what the organization did to ease the situation.
