Shastri ji's personality is an inspiration for country: Shah

New Delhi, Oct 2(UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday remembered former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary and paid rich tributes.
Shah in his message expressed that Shastri Ji's simple lifestyle ,farsightedness and his fearless personality inspires the entire country.
It is the 116th birth anniversary of the second Prime Minister of country who was born on October 2 in the year 1904 in Uttar Pradesh's Mugalsarai.
''Shah further said that Shastri ji's leadership which was as strong as the Himalayas, and his slogan of 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' empowered the farmers and soldiers , the two strong pillars of the country.''
My tribute to the great person , Mr Shah said.
