Hyderabad: mild tremors in Borabanda and surrounding areas, no casualties

Hyderabad, Oct 2 (UNI) Mild tremors were felt at Borabanda and surrounding areas in the city on Friday evening.
No casualties or major property loss were reported, according to police.
Tremors measuring about 1.5 on the Richter scale were reported at around 8.35 PM, according to NGRI officials here.
The minor tremors were reported at the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) observatory located at Uppal.
Panic residents at Borabanda and nearby areas, who felt the tremors and heard a loud sound, rushed out of their homes and spent some time on the streets.
