The Rajasthan government issued Unlock 5.0 guidelines, ordering the closure of schools, colleges, cinema halls, and multiplexes till 31 October. The guidelines came into force on 1 October. The state government has decided to continue the suspension of regular classes in schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutes will remain closed till 31 October in view of the growing Kovid-19 cases.
However, the government's unlocked guidelines specify that online learning will continue; 50% of teaching and non-teaching staff can be called to schools. In addition, students outside the concentration zone of classes 9 to 12 are allowed to attend schools, but only with the written consent of the parents.
The guidelines stated that “the state government will make a decision regarding opening of schools and coaching institutes in a systematic manner. This decision will be taken in consultation with the school management concerned, which is based on the assessment of the situation. ”
However, it has decided to allow higher education institutions to reopen from 15 October, only for laboratory tasks required by research scholars and for postgraduate students enrolled in science and technology streams.
According to state guidelines, "swimming pools, cinema halls, theaters, multiplexes, amusement parks, and similar places will remain closed till October 31."
All social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, religious work, and other large congregations will not be allowed until 31 October.
For wedding ceremonies, the subdivisional magistrate is required to give prior notice, and to keep the number of guests 50 persons or less, as well as social distancing, must be followed. The guidelines state that its violation will be considered a punishable offense.
