Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi left from Delhi on Thursday to meet the family of the victim of Hathras in connection with the incident of Hathras mass rape victim.
However, they were stopped at Yamuna Expressway. After this, the two leaders started marching on foot. The police, citing Section 144 and Pandemic Act, forbade Rahul and Priyanka to visit Hathras. But they did not agree and they also got into a fierce clash, after which police took many activists including Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi into custody.
After taking Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi into custody, the police took the Formula One track guest house. Where, after some time, the police returned to the Congress leaders leaving the Delhi border. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Deepender Hooda, and Jatin Prasad were also present with Rahul Gandhi.
