Himachal Pradesh: BJP-Congress workers crowded in front of Bapu's statue, lead to a huge fight

In politics, opposition parties continue to have mutual differences, but they are political statements. But the opposite was seen in Ghumarwin in Himachal Pradesh where BJP and Congress workers got into a violent clash in front of Bapu's statue. The two-party workers lashed out at each other in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue. The case increased so much that the police had to be called for mediation. The police have registered a cross FIR based on the statements of both the parties. According to the information, the Congress intended to honor the city council and the sanitation workers of the hospital on Gandhi Jayanti.


Congressmen were waiting for the program to begin. Meanwhile, at around ten past ten, BJP leader District Federation President Mahendra Pal Ratwan reached the spot with supporters and garlanded Gandhi's statue. On this, Congress leader and Councilor Shyam Sharma registered a protest, then the first debate between the two, and after that the fighting started. Ghumarwin police station in-charge Rakesh Rai said that both sides have accused each other of assault. The police have started investigating by registering cross FIRs.
