New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wished US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump a quick recovery and good health after the couple tested positive for the COVID-19.

The US president himself tweeted that he and his wife Melania Trump have tested positive for the COVID-19.

The US president in a tweet said, 'Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!'

Mr Modi in a tweet said, 'Wishing my friend @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and @FLOTUS a quick recovery and good health.'
