Two Meghalaya legislators tested positive for COVID-19

Shillong, Oct 1 (UNI) Two more Meghalaya legislators have tested positive for COVID-19.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Alexander Laloo Hek informed that National People’s Party (NPP) legislator and Government’s Chief Whip Marcuise N Marak along with his family members, his Personal Security Officer and driver have tested positive for

COVID-19 along with some of his staffs.

Independent legislator Samuel M Sangma, have also tested positive and he is under going treatment at Super Care hospital.

Earlier, Power Minister James Sangma and NPP legislator SG Estamur Mominin were tested positive for the infection.
