Under B2V 3 drive, Sinha asks Police dept to aid 2 youths from every panchayat in J&K for their 'dreams'

Srinagar, Oct 1 (UNI) Asking Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Superintendent of Police (SP) to put in their 100 per cent during the Back to Village (B2V) three, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha directed them to identify at least two young aspiring entrepreneurs from every panchayat who could be provided with requisite handholding and assistance to realize their dreams.
An official spokesman said Thursday afternoon that Mr Sinha today interacts with DCs, SPs across J&K a day before the launch of the B2V-3 programme.
Asks them to put in their 100 per cent for Equity, Growth, and Inclusion in J&K villages and use B2V3 as an opportunity to connect with the people.
He directed officers to identify at least two young aspiring entrepreneurs from every Panchayat who could be provided with requisite handholding and assistance to realize their dreams. This way around 8000 youth could be provided opportunity across J&K.
Mr Sinha said special focus should be laid on coverage of beneficiaries under different scholarship schemes, distribution of Sports kits, installation of two dustbins in every Panchayat for waste management and other public centric services.
He remarked that under the B2V3, we are launching a campaign on October 2 to take the government machinery to the citizen’s doorstep with a dedicated mission – ‘Samagra Gram Seva and Vikas’.
LG said the B2V3 is based on the Mahatma Gandhi’s idea of rejuvenation of village life as the first step towards Nation Building & for the Jammu & Kashmir administration, there can be no more befitting tribute to Gandhiji than taking governance to people in rural areas of the union territory.

Lt Governor outlined that people’s participation, social equity, and regional parity are three basic ingredients to promote growth along with human development and the B2V programme is guided by these three principles to achieve financial inclusion and social security.
