CORONA: 59 +ve cases with 1 death reported in Ambala dist

Ambala, Oct 1 (UNI) Ambala seems to be emerging as a leading district of Haryana with Corona infection as 59 cases surfaced on Thursday while one death was recorded.

Total number of positive cases has risen to 7959. Thursday , 111 patients were discharged with total number of such patients coming to 7226. However, number of active cases has reduced to 649.

Today 22 cases were reported from Ambala City with 14 from Ambala Cantt, eight from Chaur Mastpur, five from Shhzadpur, four from Barara and three each from Mullana and Naraingarh.

The elderly who died of Corona, was suffering from high blood pressure and was on oxygen support. He was resident of HUDA colony.
