LG Sinha visits family of advocate Qadri killed by gunmen in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 1 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday visited the family of advocate Babar Qadri in the down town, where he was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on September 24 evening.
An official spokesman said LG Sinha visited the family of slain advocate Qadri in Hawal area of the city.
Mr Sinha spoke to Babar’s father Mohammad Yaseen Qadri, his brother Zafar Qadri and expressed his condolences, spokesman said.
The LG assured them all support from the government, he said.
Advocate Qadri was frequently appearing as a panelist on TV debates on Kashmir on different national channels. He was shot at in his house by two gunmen who had approached him to discuss some case.
Police have registered a case and stated investigation into the case.
