Indian Idol season 12 is all set to commence soon and one of the judges Vishal Dadlani took to his Twitter page to share the happy news. The musician-singer posted a selfie from the sets of the reality show and announced that it's his first day of the shoot for the upcoming season. This is one of the most shows which are kickstarting amid coronavirus pandemic, adapting to the new normal.
Vishal captioned the selfie stating, "#IndianIdol12 Day 1, here we go!!! Wish us luck!! @sonytvofficial @thecontentteamofficial @fremantleindia".
The 'Shaitan Ka Saala' singer also shared a slow-motion video with Himesh and Neha on his Instagram page and wrote, "#DreamTeamVibes with @nehakakkar & @realhimesh, Day 1 of #IndianIdol12. This one is a season of #hope, and defying all odds to keep the world turning with music! @sonytvofficial @thecontentteamofficial @fremantleindia."

Singer and actor Aditya Narayan who had hosted the previous season will also be hosting Indian Idol 12. Confirming the same, he said in a statement, "Recording the promo was really fantastic. I felt so privileged that I would be singing for India’s most reputed singing reality show. I’m loving the reaction of the audience regarding the promo."
The makers are yet to announce the airing date of the singing based reality show. An India Today report suggested that the contestants making it to the top will be asked to quarantine and undertaking all necessary precautions before kickstarting the shoot in a full swing.
