Funeral of Shri Krishna Birla, father of LS Speaker, held in Kota

Kota, Sep 30 (UNI) The last rites of father of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Shri Krishna Birla, rites were held at Kishorpur Muktidham, here on Wednesday morning.
The 91-year-old, who passed away on Tuesday, was keeping unwell for the past few days.
Family members, along with his sons Om and Rajesh Birla, had paid their last respects.

Politicians, including former ministers, Legislators and leaders of BJP and other parties attended the funeral.
Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also expressed their grief over the death of Shri Krishna Birla.
''My heartfelt condolences at the passing away of Shri Krishna Birla ji, father of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ji. May God give strength to the family members to bear this loss. May his soul rest in peace,'' Mr Gehlot tweeted.
BJP National Vice President and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Sachin Pilot, among other leaders, also expressed condolences on the death of Shri Krishna Birla.
