Sushil Modi welcomes court's verdict in Babri Mosque demolition case

Patna, Sep 30 (UNI) Hailing the Lucknow CBI special Court verdict in Babri Mosque demolition case, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, an eye witness of the incident, said that the incident was not at all a pre-planned conspiracy as the emotional crowd had spontaneously damaged the mosque.

Mr Modi said that he was conducting the program from the dais on the day and was an eyewitness of the incident.

He further said that senior BJP leader LK Advani and other leaders tried to stop the crowd from the dais appealing them not to harm the structure but the frenzied crowd paid no head to the appeals by the leaders.

Mr Modi said that every leader, including Mr Adwani present were hurt by the incident.

Speaking about the court's verdict, the BJP leader said that the judgement has proved that there was no conspiracy behind this incident.
