No proposal to form govt with Shiv Sena: Maha BJP

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil said on Tuesday that there was no proposal to form the government with the Shiv Sena, NCP or Congress.
"We are playing the role of an active Opposition. We cannot form government with the three, but those three cannot stay together," he noted.
The state BJP chief opined that the Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP will fight with each other over Farm Acts and other issues and break the alliance.
"Be it Farm Bills or any other matter, they (Congress, Shiv Sena, NCP) will fight with each other and break up. Then what will happen next? Mid-term election. It is my analysis, it is not necessary that this will happen," Mr Patil said.
While referring to the recent meet of former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, the BJP chief claimed that no political discussion took place in the said meeting and added that the two had met to discuss an interview in 'Saamna' -- the Sena mouthpiece.
"I said yesterday that Sanjay Raut had asked Devendra Fadnavis for an interview in 'Saamna' and also said that they will sit together, once the latter gets to see questions, to rule out anything controversial. No political discussion took place, as it was never the purpose," Mr Patil reiterated.
