New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) In an apparent attack on the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government over the 'forceful' cremation of the Hathras gangrape victim, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday questioned the state government’s system and termed it “very painful’’.

“The Hathras victim was first raped by some beasts and yesterday again by the entire system,” Kejriwal said in a cryptic tweet.

Echoing the same, his Cabinet colleague and Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia also slammed the UP police.

The cremation of the 19-year-old victim, who passed away in the National Capital, was conducted by the UP police at Hathras in the wee hours of today, amid protest and demonstrations by the villagers and family members. They were demanding the body to be taken into her house.
