NCRPB sanctioned over Rs 15k cr loan in over Rs 31k cr worth projects: Mishra

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, MoHUA on Tuesday said the National Capital Regional Planning Board (NCRPB) sanctioned over Rs 15,000 crore loan in over Rs 31,000 crore worth projects.
At the launch of Project Management Information System (P-MIS) of the NCRPB here, Mr Mishra informed that NCRPB approves Regional & Sub-Regional Plans in National Capital Region & funds projects at affordable rate by raising Bonds from market or taking loans from bilateral/multilateral agencies.
He said that NCRPB has sanctioned over Rs 15000 crore loan in over Rs 31000 crore worth of projects and stated that 265 Projects of more than Rs 18,500 crore are complete and rest are under construction.
''P-MIS will bring ease in review and management of projects and provide information & opportunity to give feedbacks to the citizens,'' he said.
Project Management Information System (P-MIS) is a major step in using digital/ mobile
technology to improve transparency & accountability in monitoring progress of projects &
administering loans, Mr Mishra said.
Speaking at the launch of P-MIS of the National Capital Regional Planning Board (NCRPB) here, Mr
Mishra congratulated NCRPB and said that this Portal is well timed during Covid-19 when use
of technology has grown tremendously.
P-MIS has been developed in-house by NCRPB and hosted on NIC Server.
