Sensex recovers 94.71 pts

Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday recovered by 94.71 pts at 38,067.93 following gains in Consumer Durable, Capital Goods, Industrials, FMCG and Health Care stocks.

The nifty of national stock exchange too gained by 4.10 pts at 11,226.50.

The sensex opened higher by 95 pts to 38,068.89. It advanced 263 pts to 38,236.34 days high before closing at 38,067.83, up by 94.71 pts from its previous close. It was fell by 145 pts to 37,828.11, days low.

The sensex registered days high and low at 38,236.34 and 37,828.11 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 11,295.40 and 11,184.55 pts respectively.

The sectoral indices like Consumer Durable, Capital Goods, Industrials, FMCG and Health Care lifted the market, however selling in Telecom, Metal, Oil and Gas and Energy capped from further gains, broker informed.

The scrips that increased were Tech Mahindra, Titan, Nestle India, ITC and Hind Unilever while the scrips that declined were Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, M& M and Sun Pharma.

The Mid Cap rose by 0.05 pc and Small Cap by 0.45 pc. In 30 scrips, 12 advanced while 18 declined.
