Horror repeated: Another gangrape in UP!

Moradabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Even as the demand for justice rose from different quarters for a Dalit girl, who was brutally gangraped and later succumbed to her injuries at a Delhi hospital on Tuesday, another woman faced a similar fate in Uttar Pradesh, where two men outraged her modesty, on the pretext of getting her a job!
A police spokesperson said here on Wednesday that a case has been registered at Mainather police station against two persons for allegedly gangraping a woman on September 28.
The woman, resident of Katghar area, had visited the Mainather police station, along with her lawyer on Tuesday.
She told the police that she had gone to meet her friend at a dairy farm in Prabhat Market, where she met Barish Bhura, resident of Sagarpur village in Shahbad area of Rampur.
The accused lured the woman by promising to get her a job. He took her to a road near Lalpur Gangwari village, whre they were met by Bhura's friend Jarrar. Both the youth dragged the woman to a nearby sugarcane farm, where they gangraped her.
Police have booked the duo under rape. Further investigation was underway, the spokesperson added.
