CHENNAI: MDMK general secretary Vaiko on Saturday urged External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take steps to rescue the nine fishermen from Chennai who were stranded in Myanmar for over 50 days. Since they were not allowed inland, they continued to stay in their boat and one of them who went in for repair works did not return, he said.
