The Health Ministry has said that during the last twenty-four hours 93,240 people have become healthy in the country from COVID-19 and with this, the total number of cured patients has reached 48,49,584. The ministry said that with the recovery of patients, the rate of recovery is also constantly improving. It currently stands at 82.14 percent.
India has thus topped the total number of patients cured in a day as well as the total number of patients cured in the global ranking.
The ministry said that more patients are recovering than new cases of infection. The number of cases cured has gone up five times compared to the cases under treatment. Current cases make up only 16.28 percent of the total cases of infection. It continues to decline.
