Funds crunch hits Mangaluru City Corporation as pandemic hits revenue

The Covid-19 pandemic has led the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) to face a severe funds crunch. Following this, the city corporation has been requesting people to pay property tax, trade licence renewal fee and other cess immediately so that the city corporation may take up ward-wise development works through corporator’s grant.
