The three-phase Bihar assembly election will be a massive one amid the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic in Bihar, and according to the IANS C-Voter Bihar poll, 30.9% of people are still supporting Nitish Kumar. The public has described him as the best candidate to become Chief Minister again.
Nitish Kumar is followed by Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav, who is the preferred CM candidate of 15.4%, followed by BJP leader Sushil Modi at 9.2%.
Surprisingly, RJD supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad, who has been convicted in the fodder scam and has been barred from contesting elections, was considered the most preferred candidate to become CM by 8.3% of voters. Lok Janshakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan has been preferred as the CM candidate by 6.5%.
