Onion prices head north, households in Odisha feel the pinch

Onion prices in the capital touched Rs 50 per kg against last week’s price of Rs 35 per kg. Market insiders said prices might go up to Rs 100 per kg in the coming days due to short supply, crop damage caused by rain and disruptions in supply chain.
