RIP SPB: Heartbroken Salman Khan says SP Balasubrahmanyam Sir, you will forever live on

Salman Khan took to Twitter to condole the death of singer SP Balasubrahmanyam.

Salman Khan penned an emotional note after the news of the demise of SP Balasubrahmanyam broke on social media. The legendary singer breathed his last today, September 25, at the age of 74 in Chennai, after a long battle with Covid-19. He was critical and on maximum life support on Thursday (September 24) night.

Salman took to Twitter and wrote, "Heartbroken to hear about #SPBalasubrahmanyam sir... you will forever live on in your undisputed legacy of music! condolence to the family #RIP (sic)."

Last night, there were reports that SP Balasubrahmanyam's health condition had worsened and doctors were closely monitoring him. MGM Healthcare hospital, where SPB has been admitted, also released a statement confirming the same.

Last night, Salman Khan had hoped for SPB's speedy recovery when he got to know of his condition. Salman shared a great rapport with SPB, who was once the voice of Salman Khan through the 90s and have delivered several hits together.

Salman thanked SPB for all the songs that he sang for him. He wrote, "Bala Subramaniam sir . All the strength hope wishes from the bottom of my heart to a speedy recovery n thank u for every song u sang fr me n made special your dil dewana hero prem, Love u sir (sic)."

SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was battling with Covid-19 for over a month, died at the MGM Healthcare hospital in Chennai.
