Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said in a statement issued about the Monsoon Session 2020 that during the Monsoon Session 2020, about 167 percent of the work was done in the Lok Sabha and about 100.47 percent in the Rajya Sabha.

Joshi said that the Monsoon Session of 2020 Parliament, which started on 14 September 2020, was to conclude on 1 October 2020 but due to the risk of the COVID-19 epidemic after the necessary work in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the proceedings were delayed.
