As preparation for Super Rugby Unlocked, which starts on October 10, the Cheetahs will duel Griquas in a warm-up match in Kimberley on Saturday.
The Bloemfontein franchise confirmed their team on Friday, with Springbok Frans Steyn to make his first Cheetahs appearance, having joined from French club Montpellier earlier in the year.
Steyn will start at inside centre, with scrumhalf Ruan Pienaar the other Springbok in the starting XV.
Loose forward Oupa Mohoje is the other Springbok in the Cheetahs squad and he will get a chance off the bench.
The match at Tafel Lager Park will kick-off at 10:30 on Saturday morning and no fans will be allowed due to Covid-19 regulations.
It will be the first of two warm-up matches between the two sides, with the second one to be played in Bloemfontein next Saturday (October 3).
