33% of Gurugram’s rainwater pits don’t work, says GuruJal study

Though the civic bodies have claimed that they are trying to adequately recharge the city’s aquifers, a recent survey of rainwater harvesting pits in the city by the GuruJal department pointed out that 135 of the total 413 pits in the 57 sectors of the city are out of order, and only 278 are functional.
