KL Rahul slams highest score by captain in IPL: Twitter reactions

KL Rahul, the Kings XI skipper, reached the three-figure mark in the Indian Premier League for the second time. He amassed 132* of just 69 deliveries, hitting 14 boundaries and as many as seven sixes. This is the highest score by a captain in the Indian Premier League. Kings XI Punjab ended with a mammoth total of 206-3.

Rahul built his innings smartly as he played the role of an anchor at the start, only reaching his half-century in 39 balls. The next 50 runs came off 26 balls, while the last 32 came off in just 7 deliveries.

Rahul rained hell on the RCB bowling attack in the fag end of the innings as he helped his team get as many as 49 runs in the last two overs alone.
