There is a possibility of a surprise attack from China in view of the increasing tension between India and China, about which the Army and the Air Force are fully alert. At the same time, both these forces are also trying to increase their military capability.
On the other hand, the Army and the Airforce are not only bettering their preparations for the High Altitude War Fair but are also increasing their mastery in technical warfare against China. On the other hand, defense experts also believe that a country like China always tries to dominate the enemy by surprise attack.
Military sources said that both the number and strength of the Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) built on a strategically important LAC will increase. These are the grounds that remain close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Such grounds have been built not only by India but also by the Chinese Army in their territories.
Before the possibility of war, if the forces have to increase the number of their troops in the concerned border area, then the air force's large aircraft are routed through these ALGs to the border areas.
According to sources
China has also built several advance landing grounds near LAC. Not only this, but China has also built a strong airfield just 15 km from the LAC. On the other hand, in the North-East, our Armed Forces have also prepared their advance landing grounds.
Of these, Tooting, Elang, Pasighat, Vijay Nagar, and Matuka are the main ones, which have been fully completed in seven to eight years. Where planes like Globe Master and Super Hercules can also be landed. Now work will be done to make them stronger. While the number of such ALGs will also increase.
Through such plains, the movement of our army platoon on the inaccessible peaks of LAC will also be easily done. On the other hand, China is also trying to strengthen its surface, road, railway, and air connectivity through its annual exercise 'stride', so that it can also move its force in the forward area as soon as possible.
China was shocked by the five goals in the 1962 war as well
Former Air Force top officer Air Marshal KK Nauhwar says that the surprise attack trend is very old in China. In the 1962 Battle of the Eastern Sector, China not only surprised the Indian Army by using Flam Thrower Gun (weapon of fire shells). Rather, this weapon was going to shock our soldiers.
Even today our military capability is much more advanced and stronger than in 1962. There is a need to remain alert to the trend of the Chinese surprise attack. Flame thrower was not used in the war at that time. This was the advanced technology of the time. Even today, China cannot be undermined in terms of cyber, chemical, nuclear, and biological attacks.
But considering our apprehension, our army is also making itself stronger and capable to deal with these attacks. It was a face-to-face encounter, she has been walking among the soldiers in the border area. Chinese soldiers are good at this and ours as well.
