The pool of boiling water near Saldhar on Joshimath-Malari highway in Uttarakhand has now reached the verge of extinction. At this time very little hot water remains here. If no concrete initiative has been taken to preserve it, then in the coming times it will remain only in the stories.

18 km from Joshimath on the Malari Highway, this is a beautiful gift of nature in Sridhar. The water here is warm in both winter and summer. People often come here to see it.

Many people and laborers who came here used to put rice packets and in a short time rice were prepared. Many people also boiled by adding eggs to it. Now, this pool has reached the verge of extinction. Hot water is very less visible.

Governance and administration are not worried

Such scenic views are quite a center of attraction for tourists on the one hand. At the same time, it is also our natural heritage, but no initiative was taken from the governance-administration level to protect this pool. If it is still delayed under its protection, it will disappear forever.

People take soil from near the pool

The soil found near this pool is very soft. Nail, pimples, and stains are cleaned by applying this soil on the face. Therefore, people also take soil from here in large numbers.

The water in the pool is slowly decreasing. The department is planning for its protection. Work will be done in this direction soon.
