School dropout designs 360° revolving ceiling fan in Surat

A small-time engineering workshop owner Rohit Kareliya in the non-descript Kholvad village in Kamrej taluka has designed a 360-degree revolving ceiling fan based on the principle of the gyroscope. The 45-year-old resident of Kamrej taluka has applied for an international patent under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) to protect his invention.
