More returnees in new voters list

Even while the government has sought slight deferral of local body elections owing to rising Covid 19 cases, the state election commission (SEC) is completing all requisite procedures. The final voters’ list will be published on September 26. Over 7 lakh new voters – mostly people who returned from other states and countries due to Covid-19 situation –are expected to be added to the list.
