After the approval of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot 'Moksha Kalash Yojana-2020' run by Rajasthan Roadways, Rajasthan Roadways Corporation (RSRTC) will now take passengers going to Haridwar for the immersive immersion of their family members in the Ganges River.
According to the official release, the RSRTC will be the nodal agency for implementing the scheme, while the expenditure will be borne by the Devasthan Department.
Under the scheme, a maximum of two members of the deceased's family will be able to travel free for bone immersion. Passengers have to register to avail of the facility by providing details about the deceased person. A copy of the relevant documents will also have to be kept for the members who are going for bone immersion.
A maximum of 46 passengers will be allowed in one bus due to the need to follow social distancing norms.
The statement said that the RSRTC would provide an interface for online registration, arranging transportation to the destination and other facilities during the journey.
