The U.S. dollar held onto gains against major currencies on Wednesday, supported by positive U.S. economic data and concerns about a second wave of coronavirus infections in Europe and Britain.
Indian rupee is trading flat at 73.56 per dollar, amid buying seen in the domestic equity market.
It opened flat at 73.58 per dollar against previous close of 73.58.
At 11:12 IST, the Sensex was up 241.62 points or 0.64% at 37975.70, and the Nifty was up 67.80 points or 0.61% at 11221.50.
