The Mayor of Gorgan Abdolreza Dadboud mentioned on Saturday that European investors comprising the owners of Italian tourism industry are thinking of investing in projects in Gorgan for the recovery of Gorgan historic district as well as building Seven Cities Market.
Stephano Santes, the Chief Executive Officer along with few members of Italian tourism educational institutions took part in the historic district of Gorgan historical city. Also, they explored the natural tourist attractions of the city in Northern Iran. This move is intended to act as a good opportunity to introduce tourism capabilities in this region to all the foreign investors and to make use of the private sector to develop the tourism projects of this city of tremendous historic importance.
Golestan is located in the northeast of Iran and is country’s one of the best tourist destinations in regards to its charming natural attractions, extensive cultural diversity and countless historical sites.
International wetlands, dense forests, bubbling springs, and tens of waterfalls can be found in this province.
In Iran, Golestan is certainly one of the greenest regions with peaceful coexistence of several ethnic groups like Baluchis, Kazakh, and Sistanis, another source of attraction of this province.

In his meeting with Gorgan city officials, the CEO of the Italian tourism educational institution stated that the execution of “responsible tourism” side by side with maintaining the traditions and the culture with the influx of investors from Italy and Europe will lead to the formation of economic productive firms in Gorgan.
“In addition to creating jobs, cultural interaction will also be strengthened,” Stephano Santes added.
