Farm bills: Unprecedented ruckus in RS as MPs tear papers, heckle staff

The Rajya Sabha witnessed unprecedented scenes during the debate on agriculture bills as opposition members climbed on to the chairman's podium, tore official papers, and heckled the presiding officer. Ruckus prevailed after deputy chairman Harivansh overruled opposition pleas for postponing agriculture minister's reply to the debate on the two bills till Monday.
