Actually, this Feluda test kit was being speculated to be available in the market by the end of May, but due to technical flaws, the project has now been approved. Scientists at CSIR's New Delhi-based Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB) have developed a test kit called Feluda that can be used as a pregnancy detection kit.
Results will be revealed in 30 minutes, a kit for less than Rs 500
It can take up to 30 minutes to find the result. With the Tata company, this kit can be available for less than Rs 500. A similar study is also going on in collaboration with Reliance Company in which Jammu scientists are working on RT lamps.
Five times cheaper than RT-PCR
CSIR Director General Dr. Shekhar C Mande said that this technique is three to five times cheaper than RT PCR. This discovery of young scientists will not only speed up the corona investigation in the country in the coming days but can also provide better test results at a lower price. He congratulated all the scientists involved in this research and described it as a great success.
At the same time, team chief scientist Devojit Chakraborty said that DNA capability has been worked out using the Crisper technique. Using this biology part and chemically prepared paper, a paper strip kit has been prepared, which is named Feluda. A line appears on the paper during the investigation. If the patient is infected, the line will appear, if not negative, will not be seen.
