Police, who later arrested the auto driver and the 23-year-old woman, said the victim Savithri (45) of Tiruvalluvar Nagar in Pammal is working as a teacher at a government school in Urapakkam. On Friday, she boarded a share auto in Pammal and was travelling towards Pallavaram. Police identified the accused woman as Rosemary of Pammal, separated from her husband and staying at a hotel in Porur. She was involved in many snatching incidents along with the auto driver, Prasanth (26) of Mankadu, whose auto registration number was fake.
