Payment app Paytm has been taken down from Google Play Store on Friday.
New Delhi:
The app, owned by One97 Communications Ltd, has reportedly been taken down because it allegedly violates the Google’s new rules around online gambling.
Earlier in the day the tech giant said it does not allow apps facilitating sports betting and will remove such apps from the Google Play Store.
Further, Google said that when an app violates these policies, it notifies the developer of the violation and removes the app from Google Play until the developer brings the app into compliance.
