NEW DELHI: S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading on a mixed note at 02:25PM (IST) on Friday.
Shares of M M Forgings (up 15.73 per cent), Suven Life Sciences (up 9.98 per cent), Sadhana Nitro Chem (up 9.9 per cent), Apollo Micro (up 9.19 per cent) and Prince Pipes and Fittings (up 9.02 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Essel Propack (down 7.62 per cent), Optiemus Infracom (down 4.99 per cent), McLeod Russel India (down 4.9 per cent), India Tourism Dev Corp (down 4.87 per cent) and Marksans Pharma (down 4.74 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 0.06 per cent down at 15339.9 around 02:25PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 47.15 points at 11468.95, while the BSE Sensex was down 278.26 points at 38701.59.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
Shares of Essel Propack, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, IDFC First Bank Ltd. and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Natco Pharma, Dr. Reddys Laborat, Cipla, Lupin and Cadila Health hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mauria Udyog Ltd., Panth Infinity Ltd., Innovative Ideals and Services (India) Ltd., Mukat Pipes Ltd., Colorchips New Media Ltd., Benara Bearings & Pistons Ltd., Libord Finance Ltd., Aditri Industries Ltd., Pazel International Ltd. and Shivom Investment & Consultancy Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
