Webinar featuring scholars to discuss population control in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Janasakhya Samadhan Foundation (JSF) held a webinar with eminent scholars from Tripura on Saturday.
Formed in the year 2017, Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation has been working tirelessly across the country to enforce a strict population control law across the country by creating public awareness through its campaigns and adopting strict law policies, stated Sailendra Pandey, chairman of North East Chapter of JSF at the webinar.
“JSF has launched this campaign or mission to protect the mother nature, the environment, religion and also for the national security. The body demands a strict enforcement of the population control law in order to safeguard them,” said Pandey.
Dr Subhajit Choudhury, who was the moderator, introduced the theme and opened the session for a discussion. While Dr Dhuba Charan Hota, associate professor of MBB College, emphasized on the need for proper research on population for successful implementation of the population law, Dr Ratan Mazumder, associate professor of Government Law College, talked about the influx of people through the Bangladesh border.
