Coronavirus India Live: India records second highest number of recoveries in the world

The Covid-19 death toll in India crossed 80,000 on Monday, with the country recording the highest fatalities in the world over the past fortnight. Maharashtra, after reporting over 22,000 new Covid-19 cases for the last five days, reported a significant dip at 17,066 cases on Monday, the lowest in 13 days, taking the total cases to 10,77,374.
