CM Palaniswami returned all the accusations to Stalin saying that it is the DMK-Congress coalition that ensconced NEET exams in education.
Chennai:
On the second day of the session, TN assembly witnessed heated debate between CM K Palaniswami and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) DMK Chief MK Stalin.
On an accusatory note Stalin invoked former CM Annadurai (today is his birthday) and said the AIADMK has compromised on two key ideals of the Dravidian leader, two-language policy and federalism.
He questioned why the resolution passed in the state assembly against NEET is still kept waiting by the Central government.
He urged the state government to pass a resolution against central government regarding its stance in NEET.
CM Palaniswami returned all the accusations to Stalin saying that it is the DMK-Congress coalition that ensconced NEET exams in education.
Upping the ante, he held the DMK responsible for 13 students who died of suicide because of NEET.
Meanwhile, the Congress lawmakers were hurried out of the assembly by the assembly guards for allegedly causing ruckus and commotion to seek permission to speak.
Tomorrow, Wednesday is the final session of the three-day assembly that begun on September 14.
