DM reached the frontier village after walking 17 km on the mountainous paths, people are very much surprised

DM Mangesh Ghildiyal of Tehri District of Uttarakhand reached the frontier village, Gangi, after taking a 17 km walk on the mountainous paths. The villagers were surprised to see them reaching the village on foot. During this time he reached the village and took stock of the damage caused by the disaster.

The villagers raised the demand for early construction of roads, footbridges, and school buildings damaged by the disaster. The DM instructed the PMGSY officials to open Ghutu-Rih-Gangi road which was closed for traffic for three months soon.

Let us know that there was a heavy loss due to rain on the last August 10 in the marginal Gangi village of Bhilangana block. Ten people's houses were partially damaged due to the flooding in the middle of the village. Three cattle collapsed and 15 animals were buried under the debris and buried alive.

Drinking water lines, charts, contact routes were also damaged. The 20 km Ghutu-Rih-Gangi road under construction is also damaged by the disaster and has been blocked for traffic since July. DM Mangesh Ghildiyal and CDO Abhishek Ruhela reached the Gangi village on foot on Sunday.

DM instructed the officers to open the road soon. PMGSY has started work on the road from Monday. DM told us that the compensation amount has already been given to all the families affected by the disaster. Other facilities will soon be made smooth.

Let us know that DM Mangesh Ghildiyal has recently got a new responsibility in the post of Under Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office for four years. He said I am happy that I have been selected to work in the Prime Minister's Office. Whatever responsibility I get, I will discharge it with full devotion.

Let me tell you that Ghildiyal, a 2012 batch IAS officer, is one of the popular bureaucrats in the state. He was active in Kedarnath reconstruction work while being the Collector of Rudraprayag. He has been known for his effective role in the coronary as Tehri District Magistrate.
