Punjab: Congress govt is doing vendetta politics, says BJP's Malvinder Singh Kang

LUDHIANA: While levelling allegations against the Congress government, Punjab BJP general secretary and Ludhiana in-charge Malvinder Singh Kang claimed that it is taking steps like registration of FIRs against BJP leaders just to pressurise them.
On Tuesday he was in Ludhiana for conducting a few meetings with party cadre. He also tweeted to CM Captain Amarinder Singh for stopping this vendetta politics. While addressing a press conference Kang said recent FIR against BJP state president Ashwani Sharma is also fresh example of this kind of politics being done by the Congress leaders. Earlier also FIRs were registered against BJP leaders for protesting outside residences or offices of Congress leaders or in chowks.
Contrary to this, Congress cabinet ministers, MLAs have gathered people in large number and police was mere mute spectator in their case. He said neither police nor district administration took any action against them.
He said all this is being done to pressurise the opposition because state government has failed at every front especially in tackling the spreading of coronavirus and those who are raising voice against government failure FIRs are being registered against them. He said but they will continue raising the public issues without fearing FIRs or other action.
Later on he took a meeting with BJP leaders.
