Accordingly, more than 38.59 lakh people have been cured, leading to a healthy recovery rate of 78.28 percent on Monday. According to the data provided by the ministry, the total number of infections in the country has gone up to 49,330,236 whereas in the last 24 hours the death toll has gone up to 80,776 due to the death of 1,054 more people due to this epidemic. According to the ministry, the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.64 percent.

According to the data, 9,9,061 patients are currently being treated in the country. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 5.83 crore samples have been tested so far, of which 10.73 million samples were tested on Monday.
